Personality:

As much as Lorien love to live the life of the rich and famous, she also wants to live the life of either a pirate, thief, something more adventurous then learning the right way to wave a fan at a dinner party, or how to hold a fork, or even the proper way to bat ones eyes at some stuck up lord. Thus she is a bit of a wild spirit and is not afraid at times to show it.
Lorien has a kind of split Public Persona. When she is with her family, she is very proper, and acts like the perfect little lady. But when she is out and about on what she calls adventures with Rufus, then she is just as wild as the next street urchin, or thief.

Appearance:

Lorien stand around five feet four inches, and weigh in around one hundred and twenty, give or take a pound, depending on what she feels like eating at the time. She is kind of willowy, something she got from her grandmother, while getting her grandfather’s hair and features. Her hair is a very dark seal brown in color, and fall down the middle of her back, and tend to be very straight with very little curl to it. Her skin will tan to a golden brown, another trait coming from the Osai side in her background. She had large dark brown eyes that tend to tell more than they should something she tries to work on for when she plays cards.

History:

Lorien is the third child of Lord Alond, and Lady Tiama Madear. She has Twin older brother, something that seems to run in the family. She is also the granddaughter of Lorien and Fayt. Tiama was the older of the twins born to them, her younger sister by ten minute, Jade is also married to a lord of the court.

It seems that after Fayt’s death, Lorien left the Osai, as it had too many painful memories and took over Fayt’s business. And in turned raise up two lovely green eyed daughters. In time and with the right education and hard work both girls married well. The only thing was for some reason; none were born to be elemental. Which upset Rufus to no end, and of course he blamed Fayt for all of that.

When Lorien was born, Rufus announced that she was special, and would be the next fire elemental. Thus he insisted she was named for her grandmother, and once Rufus set his mind to something it was best given in to. Sides Tiama thought it would be nice to name her daughter after her mother anyway.

The two Loriens spent a great deal of time together, mostly due to the fact that as Rufus predicted the younger Lorien’s skill were very good. Her grandmother also taught her a few things she should not know, like how to pick pockets and play cards, along with juggling and acrobatics.

Then one dark night, Lorien passed away in her sleep, it was a very sad day for Lorien, as she and her grandmother were very close. Rufus then became Lorien’s familiar, and after a short time of mourning, he began to convince her to sneak out and do things. Nothing bad, but, just a little pick pocketing, a little card playing and maybe some drinking.

Lorien soon found she liked living this double life, Lady by day, rouge by night. Sides she figured she was but eighteen with plenty of time ahead of her to play lady to the court, so why not play rogue for a while?

In time she would meet up with the Pirate King and have his daughter. Later on, she would meet up with Roan, whom was suppose to be her bodyguard and keep her safe till her marriage to Feorin, which never came about as she fell in love with Roan, whom is now helping her raise her daughter Luna.
